NEW: Many
people ask me about the thumb piano I play. It is called an mbira and
is from Zimbabwe, although the one I play does not have the traditional
hollowed out gourd surrounding it. Some of the places below might be able
to sell mbiras. Note, these are not the same as kalimbas. Also, beware
of the many tourist imitations which have unsatisfactory sounds.
